Google Combat Glass, Q-Warrior, TALOS, & DARPA

glassQ-Warrior displays 3D heads-up real-time “situational awareness.” High-resolution transparent display, overlays data and video stream over the eye. Including enhanced night vision, waypoints and routing information, and the ability to identify hostile and non-hostile forces, track personnel and assets, and coordinate small unit actions.

“[The] requirement is a comprehensive family of systems in a combat armor suit where we bring together an exoskeleton with innovative armor, displays for power monitoring, health monitoring, and integrating a weapon into that — a whole bunch of stuff that RDECOM is playing heavily in,” said Lt. Col. Karl Borjes, a U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM)

From cops to Special-Ops are increasingly considering the future of wearable computing. BAE clearly wants to be the Google of the battlefield. Displaying textual information, warnings and “threats”.

Q-Warrior works eerily with the Army Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS) currently under development. TALOS is a powered exoskeleton to haul heavier equipment with liquid armor capable of stopping bullets and the ability to apply wound-sealing foam.

TALOS, will deliver “superhuman strength with greater ballistic protection” by providing a powered exoskeleton to haul heavier equipment, liquid armor capable of stopping bullets, built-in computers and night vision, as well as the ability to monitor vital signs and apply wound-sealing foam. Put together, the capabilities would make the already elite Special Operation Forces nearly invincible in the field.

Equipped with a variety of sensors and cameras, ready for the military to test in June, reported Military.com.The TALOS technology will be rigorously tested, and military personnel to have operational systems in the field within a few years. The suit includes features such as 360-degree cameras with built-in night vision capabilities, sensors that can detect injuries and apply wound-sealing foam, and bulletproof armor.

TALOS systems may include full-body exoskeletons complete with screens that display information about a soldier’s surroundings, according to Military.com

Also, MIT engineers are working on a liquid body armor made of magnetorheological fluids that “transform from liquid to solid in milliseconds when a magnetic field or electrical current is applied,” according to the Army

Not excluding DARPA autonomous robots where in future time they’re casually strolling by, deciding who to kill, who not to. Even at 2013 DARPA Challenge many robots exceeded expectations. They begin with a drill in their hand helping out; how long before that’s replaced by weapons. There’s already autonomous drones.  At this point they need human operators and requires sums of time. In a years time they’ll be faster as technology hastens. See Also:    >DARPA & Forecasting the Future Technology<      >Autonomous Convoys & Robotics<       >Autonomous Jet Drones<

USNEWSGHOSTWe have already put our civilization on the path of self-destruction through dangerous nuclear power technologies, the massive global release of toxic chemicals, global genetic pollution risks from GMOs, the mass poisoning of the public water supply with industrial chemicals falsely labeled “fluoride,” and even the mindless promotion of chemical prescription drugs that sap human ingenuity, creativity and happiness.

Any intelligent entity, upon observing humanity’s present situation, would inevitably conclude that humanity must be controlled and restricted if it is to be preserved at all.
